I created this video as a way to introduce my story in a more effective and engaging way.
I wanted anyone who saw this video to be so excited that they would feel a need to read the story the video was made as a result of.
'Madness' is not just a story about a girl who is seeking an adventure, it's about a girl who is dealing with crippling grief, so crippling she doesn't know how to live her life anymore, and when she meets a stranger, he only raises more questions about her life and the life her parents' lead than she can answer. This journey she's embarking on is an attempt to understand the people she loved, to feel close to them again, because she couldn't feel much further from them now.
I believe there's a market for my story, I believe this is something that will resonate with my readers.
A Tale of Pain
My story I wrote is very much alive with emotion. Every character in this book has some kind of pain they are working through or dealing with, and I think the world will want more. We hear her brother say that he can't keep walking around their parents' home like he owns it, we hear Cara's hope alongside her worry, we see Curtis get frustrated with Isabelle, and so much more. Those three just scratch the surface of the world I've created, a world I'm overjoyed to share with everyone. Pain is apart of our lives, and we shouldn't be ashamed of it, we should embrace it, and see that other's might have pain they are also dealing with. The best way we can overcome our pain is to understand that we are not alone. I truly believe once my book finds it's market, people will love the message behind it.
And my book might just be what someone needs in their time of need.
